I was trying to figure out where I'd heard of Mike Doughty before, turns out that he'd collaborated on a track (called "Never Gonna Come Back Down") with BT (the DJ, not telephone company) on the album Movement in Still Life (1999) - which I quite liked.
I enjoyed Stellar Motel, though given the language, not one to be listened to with the kids around. 😅
